Sorry for creating a new post. I couldn't see how I could edit the title in my previous post.

I did a search on the site and didn't see anything about Axe bats. Does anyone know anything about them. I think they are big in baseball. Mookie Betts endorses them (a star here in Boston). The club my daughter plays for sells them but I know nothing about them. Do any of you have any thoughts?

Thanks

The grip is shaped like an axe handle and forces all hits to be on one side of the bat. That cannot be good for reliability...

Go into adavanced edit mode and you can rename the other title. Seen the bats but have no experience with them .

So Cal
Rumor has it that Mookie's brother, Cookie, endorses Axis bats. ;)

Although I don't have anything specifically against the Axe concept, I'm not sure I buy that it's really an improvement. My first reaction is to put it into the same category as Easton's Torq handle.

My daughter who is 11 used one for the past 2 years in 10U. She loves it but I don't see much pop off this bat. Ball sounds a little dead coming off. It is being retired this year though, I just bought her a LS Xeno Plus.

I think you are forgetting that axe bats have an engineered hitting area!

I took care of it. The other thread now has the proper title.
