Need new cleats for DD ASAP. She has hit a growth spurt and outgrew all of her shoes overnight. We normally buy New Balance molded cleats but they are perpetually sold out of the size we need just about everywhere. We've tried Nike and UA in the past and don't care for them . She has severs disease so the stacked heel of the new balance has been great for her. These Boombah look promising, they have a nice heel and apparently mold to your foot. Anyone have real life experience with Boombah cleats?

DD had 3 pair of the molded plastic cleats...within 6 weeks. She was always huge for her age (at 12U she was 5'7" 165 lbs.) pushed off of the inside ball of her foot and tore out those 3 cleats within a 2 week period...every time. That said, the customer service was great. I took a picture and they sent new replacements immediately. I think I waited 2 days before they arrived each time. Also, DD said they were the most comfortable pair of cleats she had ever worn until she got her Ringors. We haven't tried the steel so I don't know about them.

ETA: You might want to check out Tanel 360 cleats as well.

Own two pairs of the molded cleats and one pair of turf cleats. DD loves them...very comfortable. Have held up for us so far.

thanks. She actually had a pair of Ringor turf shoes and didn't care for those either, felt they were too stiff. I think we will give the Boombah a try

DD had Tanel 360's for 2 years in molded and liked them, when she moved to metal we went with 3n2 at first, the entire bottom came off of one of the cleat during a game, thank goodness for superglue. So then we bought Boombah metals, she's on her 3rd pair in 3 years and loves them. The 2 old pairs are still wearable but playing in the outfield on wet fields and they develop a bit of an odor so we start every spring with a new pair.

I just bought DD some New Balance cleats from Eastbay and they seemed to have almost everything in stock. You can also try direct from New Balance as well.

My son had Boombah cleats for a season and they seemed to hold up pretty well.

Both of my DD's (16 and 12) have had a few pairs. End up replacing them cause they out grow them rather then wear them out. Oldest has had metal ones for 2 maybe 3 years now, still look almost new. We have had great experience with them holding up. Youngest DD is a pitcher, no issues with toes wearing out on right foot.

We have had Nike and UA, both had the cleats on the front wear out to almost nothing in less than a season. Both DDs played rec ball and travel at the same time.

Anyone know how Boombah's compare to Mizuno's, size wise? We usually go with Mizuno's but the Boombah's look pretty good. Both dd's wear 9's.

There is a graph on the website that if you measure their foot it will tell you what size to order. We have done that and it works perfect.

And don't be afraid to go with the mens cleats. If you look at the size chart, you can look at the measurements and match up the women's and men's sizes. All three of the pairs we have bought are men's and all three fit perfectly.
