Hello Everyone,

Wanted to see if anyone has a 32/22 Miken FB that they were looking to let go.

My daughter loves her 31 MFB and she's getting close to outgrowing it.

So before I go down the road of looking at other bats... I was hoping (fingers crossed) that I might be able to find one.

Best,

Cheeze

Miken Freak same bat as Worth Legit which is now the Rawlings Quatro. If no luck finding the Freak check the other two for options.

I'm not so sure that the Quatro is exactly the same bat. As I understand it, it's the next generation of the Freak/2Legit family - like CF9 is to CF8. In a side by side comparison the Freak and Quatro seem to be pretty close in weight and balance point, and both have the same distinctive sound (not as "glassy" as LS, but not as "thuddy" as Demarini). I haven't seen enough of the Quatro to compare performance, but I have read quite a few happy reviews of the Quatro.

Cheeze - My DD has two 32/22 MFBs. Both have been used heavily, and are currently being borrowed by teammates. If I can pull one of them out of circulation, I'll shoot you a PM.

I have a used MFB 32/22 that DD could part with. It was used for most of last summer but has since been retired. I can get pics if you're interested. DD hit well with it but went into a slump at the end of the season and went back to her LXT and now the MFB collects dust.

DD is happy with her Quatro so far, first swings in anger this weekend. Great characterization of the sound, I will also throw in a little higher pitch than the Combat she was swinging prior to the switch to the Rawlings.

Thank you everyone for the replies!

It's definitely been harder and harder to find the MFB's around - I have since been talking to DD about the Quatro being the next bat in line. I tried getting her used to the new Demarini, but she just didn't take to it.

The feedback that you guys have given about the quatro sound in line with what I've heard from others and that's definitely encouraging.

Thanks again everyone!

Sorry - DD still swings a 31, and I’ve tried moving her onto different bats but the Miken is still king.

Next best thing has been the Quatro...was looking at the Velo since that appeared to be lighter and more balanced...but haven’t seen very good feedback on that. Fingers crossed on the Quatro Pro though!

So she’s still on the MFB train until I can’t find anymore.

Good luck on your search, I lucked out and found a NIW last year that is sitting in her cupboard, but haven’t found another one since.
