DD got the 2017 LXT 33 -10 about 7 months ago, has been a great bat. Unfortunately during recent BP, bat made a loud cracking sound and can now hear a rattle and it seems to just thud when hitting. LS is going to warranty replace (great customer service by the way). I asked if they would let us replace with a LXT -8 which they said they would. I was wondering if anyone had any experience they could share about this bat, ie: is weight pretty much same balance as -10 or did they put the additional ~2oz towards the barrel where it has a little more end loaded/weighted feel like the Xeno. (Have always been curious about where/how weight was added to bats to achieve lower drops.)
DD also has the 2016 Xeno 33 -10 she uses. Hits well with both, very du jour on which she uses. She has always loved the old Rocketechs since that is what she learned to hit with, which makes us think the -8 may give her a little more of the feel she liked while having the tech/composite advantages over an old RT.
