1) like that it is wood with a small sweet spot.
2) like that you can hit real balls.
3) almost bought this thing several times.
4) have not used one.

I probably would have bought one but I have both a Prohammer in fastpitch weight and in -3 and I have a Jaime Carivallo Swing Mechanic as well as $15 Louisville Slugger wood bats. Seems like similar ideas to get to the same place.

Honestly we have used the cheap Slugger bats as much as anything.

I see why that thing is attractive, I wouldn't be afraid to use one. Just use as part of the solution, not as THE solution.

Cannonball, saw in another thread you got one of these. Which size Camwood did you get and can you say a little about why you like it? I'm gonna get one if you like it.

We have not used ours yet. We finished tryouts today. We will use it by Saturday. In swinging the bat itself, if one has a "push swing' there is no way that they will last long swinging it. We got the 33 inch 48 oz bat. If you are efficient with your swing, know how to tip and rip and hit with your core, you will do it. You can really feel it and it is all about physics. Weight above the hands and then, counterweight below the hands. Give me a week or two and I will give you a better reply.

Wow 48oz, I had the youth model laying around thinking it is 30"/35oz. Absolutely love it, hit a bucket with it then a light bat and finish with gamer. Hand speed and avg swing speed has increased nicely. I guess my concern is we may loose some of the gains as we use less due to the HS season starting.
