So let me say I hope this is in the right spot.

I bought My DD last Christmas a Shoeless jane glove which she absolutely loves. But here is the issue it's as floppy now as a flap jack or a limp noodle. If I were to have the glove re-strung would that give it some ridgity make it not as floppy?

Has the glove been heavily slathered with various creams, oils or conditioners? Has the glove been steamed, run over by a car, hit with a hammer or otherwise abused?

Sometimes you can lighty spray the back(not palm) of a floppy glove with water, then put a ball in it and let dry. It will stiffen up a bit.....for a little while.

Maybe for one practice? I may get flamed for this but those gloves are overpriced junk! Sorry burlap, no offense meant! They look worn out while sitting on the rack brand new, way too oil infused and way too soft from the start! We had a girl on our HS team who's dad bought her one and HE was so proud of that glove, in 2/3 weeks it was as floppy as a 20 year old glove! For what these cost there's tons of much better options out there. At $170, no thanks.

It has been oiled once with nokona glove conditioner. That's it just once, never been beaten banged or mangled. Only thing that has hit it was a softball catching and fielding with it

That particular brand of glove is notoriously loose and floppy in my experience. A good relace will stiffen it up a bit, but I don't think for very long.

Well...........
Was hoping to have done my homework on this one and had bought her a glove to last through high school. Ugh......

From past experience with these, utilize their reconditioning program. I believe it is $18, and you send them the glove. They will re tan it, and tighten it all up for you. One time, we sent one in and they sent us a brand new glove with tags on it. They do have very good customer service.
