Broke down and bought DD a tanner tee (pricey tee!)....now I need to get a net. Any recommendations on a net? A while ago I saw someone with a net that dropped the balls into a bucket. Anyone seen anything like that?

On a bucket
Rukkets are currently $78 on Amazon (and prime eligible). Can't beat that

I got a rukket in the spring, not been used much, already starting to tear at the seams. Gonna have to send it back. Had a bownet that we used heavily for 3 years with no issues. Netting seems close to the same, but the stitching on this one didn't hold up.

I like the price of the Rukket.

That being said, I have had really good customer service experience with a Bownet Bodyguard. I also own two 7x7 frames and have three nets for them and they have been used heavily at home and team environment and have held up really well. I wore the carry bags out but not the nets. DD who is a freshman in college and other dd is freshman in hs haven't killed them yet.

I have one of the Skilz nets that was designed to do that (funnel balls back into a bucket). Don't do it, we've used the heck out of it but have also constantly had to repair something on it. It also has a tarp like backing behind the mesh that acts like a parachute whenever there is a slight breeze - end result of which is either having to always stake it down or find something really heavy to sit on the frame. I've cut some wind slits in it that helped somewhat but it's still a PITA. For now we're still using it but I wish we had gone Bownet.

Funny story, when I got to them game the other Team was already out there hitting balls into a net. Closing in on game time, OK time to put the net away. Started 1 coach, then 2, then 5 parents out on the field trying to take it down. Games start was delayed a little bit with who was ever left in the stands and players starring at them.

How many adults does it take to take down a Net? At least for 1 Team it was 7. :)

(By the way I have a bow net and like it but can not compare it to anything else. It takes 5 or 10 minutes the first time, from then on it is up and down by myself in 2 minutes.)
