I was looking at the NCAA approved softball bat list and noticed that Easton's as well as Louisville Slugger/Demarini's 2017 lineup's were already listed. I imagine it is because this is the time of year the big bat companies start getting their new lineups to their bigger college clients. If you pay attention to Twitter Easton has tweeted about delivering new bats to Alabama and UCLA. The one thing that jumped out at me is that the 2017 Easton's do not list a Mako model. They seem to be going back on the Stealth models. They list a model called the Hyperlite as well as the Stealth Retro and the Stealth Flex with the Hyperlite and Stealth Flex being offered in Torq versions. I was watching the Alabama/Mississippi State game last night and noticed one of Alabama players was already using a Stealth Retro. I also saw a Stealth Flex and got this picture. I'm looking forward to hearing more about Easton's new line up.

I know for a fact, Easton is working very hard to get better out of the wrapper. Their new Flex SP bats are webbing much faster and
taking much less time to get going.

The retro has been talked about before here...nothing but a repaint.

We will see how they are.

The Stealth retro is supposedly based on the SSR3B model which is still legal in ASA and NCAA. Easton removed all their SCN model bats. I'm just really curious to see how the new bats stack up to the Mako. I personally liked the Mako but DD still prefers the Slugger brand. I'll be hitting up Todd after June 1st for the new LXT Hyper;);).

So which CNT composite bat are they repainting? Or are they lying about the CNT?

Talking about the "retro Stealth"...just read and do some research on them...not hard to figure out its nothing new.
Quick reference for bats...if you ever see or hear the words "exclusive", "limited" or anything
along those lines when talking about a bat...you can bet its not anything new. Slowpitch
is the king of "exclusive" bats because of all the smart people that fall for the BS...haha :)

The Flex lines are Eastons next new thing. Already been introduced in slowpitch.
