Receipts...KEEP THEM!!

Ok, folks, I know most do this but I am informing the others who don't. When
you buy a bat (from any store), have a place to keep receipts or scan them
in to your computer or whatever you have to do. They are very important.

I'm taking my DD's cracked CF8 to the UPS Store today. Yay for receipts. At least she got a homerun out of it.

See, that's how it works. You break a bat, grab your receipt and do a return form and send it off.

You don't break the bat, then call the stores because you threw the receipt away to get a copy so
you can return the bat.
There is one big store that charges 20 bucks to do this for you. I am starting to understand why
they do it...haha

I think $20 is a reasonable "irresponsibility tax" to levy, and would encourage you to do the same. Your time/effort are worth something, and that's a fair position to take imho...and I am a customer of yours for the record.

For warranty purchases of any kind, I put all of the pertinent information including the receipt into a ziploc bag with the outside clearly labeled with what it is and the purchase date. We keep all of the ziplocs in one of those tupperware things with the pullout drawers. About the only form of organization that we maintain in our house for what it's worth!

My DD is receiving her return bat tomorrow. Lasted 9 mo. DeMarini suggested she move from -11 to -10. Said they have fewer breaks. Also suggested once they move to the 12" ball to go with -10.

I bought my 2015 LXT online (and for the record her Freak online too). Core the next bat she needs, I am coming to you!

What I like about the online purchase is the emailed receipt - less for me to lose! DD now swings the 2016 LXT (thanks to the LS return policy and the copy of the receipt via email!)

Less to argue with a real receipt. Manufacturers/return depts. sometimes get a bit touchy on what is a receipt and what is just an email
confirmation and so on. That's why we still do the hard copy receipt, then nothing to argue.
