My team just won the USSSA ultimate fastpitch experience in Kansas City this past weekend and we got one of these bats(Rawlings Quatro 33/23). Not available to buy until mid summer 2016 we have not used it yet but will this weekend if you would like an update on its performance let me know.

Hi, would love an update of your thoughts on Quatro. Debating whether or not to return and spend all that money on a trusted name - Demarini or Louisville LXT. But would also love DD to swing something different for a change if it's good!!

Being that Rawlings has absorbed the Worth brand, it's pretty likely that the Rawlings Quatro is a continuation/update of the 2Legit.

Hi, hoping to get a review of the Quatro now that they've been out a few months, can't find many reviews anywhere, maybe they are not selling good. The 2017 LXT has great reviews, would like to buy a Made in USA brand though (but not Anderson or Rip It).

My DD has had 2 of these so far (32/22), both warranty replacements for 2Legits. Over the past several years DD has swung nothing else but the 2Legit and Freak Black, she preferred the Legit over the FB due to the more end loaded feel of it Vs. the more balanced feel of the FB. Having said that , DD was not impressed with the Quatro and she really wanted to be, it definitely feels extremely balanced and swings very light, too light IMO. She hit both in BP at the field, roughly 100 swings each with same results. She is consistently at the 240-250 average range on home runs with the Legits, I would say best shots with this were maybe 220, at best. Line drives were not as crisp and ball exit speed from naked eye was markedly lower (no "accurate" measurements) with the Quatro. When I asked her what she thought her first words were, "I don't like it and I want to!" lol. She's been sad about the Worth line being discontinued but excited when she heard about the Quatro so definitely a bit of a letdown. As I always do I put a few swings on it just to see how it feels, my impression matched hers. I said it "feels" cheap and she said exactly the word she was looking for - beautiful bat with exceptional quality aesthetically over the Worths and their slightly crooked end caps and occasional glue showing - but feel wise just cheap, like there's nothing to it. Again, this is just one persons opinion but as someone who's very familiar with the 2Legit and FB both inside and out (several broken in the garage ;) ) this is most definitely not a repaint of either IMO. That's honestly what I was hoping for, a pretty, repainted 2Legit lol. If a Worth/Miken/Rawlings rep says otherwise then I will stand corrected, or agree to disagree :)

Thanks!! I was on a college campus over the weekend and I spoke to several of the college players about the transition to the Quatro from the 2legit. A slight majority preferred the Quatro but others were quite vocal about preferring the 2legit. So... not sure what to believe at this point. Always tough to compare because there can be a pretty big discrepancy between list weight and actual weight. Opinions are going to vary widely as evidenced by my conversation with college players, your feedback, and then someone else's feedback who indicated that his dd hit her fiurst two homers in a year when she switched to the Quatro. In other words - clear as mud.

I will add that the following day i got to see the team practice and I watched the players take batting practice. And I am telling you some of the players hit absolute BOMBS with the Quatro. I mean the kind of bombs that make you think, "shake down the thunder!"

Thanks Project for a great review (only actual review I've ever read). There is something about the Quatro that I just want to like it too, seems like a great design for her style (line drive, consistent level swing doubles hitter who can get to the fence occasionally).
Can't sacrifice distance though just because it seems like a good design. I wish she would use a 2 piece myself but she prefers the 3 piece, maybe because she plays in colder weather alot.
Hate always sending my money to China though.

Just picked up a 31/21 for my DD who just turned 10. So far we have only done some tee work and front toss with sand balls and she says she absolutely loves it!!! She came from an LXT and had planned on just getting her another one but after reading about what happened to Core, I decided to go another route. Glad I did so far. We have practice and BP tonight so I will give another update if anyone is interested! It I will say this, her hits off the tee and her sand ball hits seemed better than with her LXT.

DD got a Quattro to replace her 2 Legit under warranty. As we waited for the Quattro I bought a "new" 15' 2 legit (same as her old one) for $100 to use while we waited. She has both now and only uses the 2 legit.. doesn't like the Quattro..

Ok so after quite a few outings with the bat, my daughter loves it. She is hitting better with it than her LXT. Does that mean it actually is? No. Bats are too personal and IMO, any bat at this level will perform wether it's a LXT, Xeno, CF series, Mako etc. Her confidence level when swinging this Quattro is through the roof. When I try to make her use the LXT, she hates it lol. I know some people have said it feels cheapish but our is the opposite. I think it looks and feels very nice compared to the bats in our family ( Xeno, CF8 Insane, LXT). So I'm very happy with the purchase especially the since the price was outstanding!!
