CF-5 question's

Found a CF-5 in the clearance bin at a local store for $100, in wrapper, full warranty. Was thinking about picking up for a backup for my DD. Questions are any know problems with them and do they meet all the new rules. Seems to have all the correct stamps on it.

Depends which cf5 but most comply. The early cf5's from 2012 didnt have the new usssa stamp but some of the later ones did. If it has the usssa thumb stamp, it should be good for all organizations.

That is a great price. I just picked up a used CF-5 for $75 and thought I did okay.

If it has the thumb print USSSA certification on it, I think you are good.

DD loves hers has not had any issues, just upgraded to the CF-7, we usually stay a year or so behind the curve, it's easier on the wallet.

CF7 will be interesting, I have seen that the CF5 is better then the CF7.

CF7 was skipped by some college teams and players.

One softball website has the CF5 listed in the top 10 best fastpitch bats ever.

Dang...those drop 11 CF5s were hot as firecrackers. Steal at $100 and when it breaks theyll replace most likely with a cf8 (assuming warranty is good)

Cf5 and cf8 drop 11 were/are my DDs favorite bats by far. Although she is taking a shine to the MF Black while her replacement cf8 is being processed.

DD used a CF5 insane a couple years ago, great bat. I still use it for infield and outfield.
