My point is exactly that...just because they are in the NPF, def doesnt mean many are sponsored.
NPF has nowhere near the $ and exposure of college games (WS).

So, my two guesses are (1) that this is the reason you see more older bats, cheaper one piece bats, Combats, Mikens
and so on...because the bats are cheaper for the most part. Not like the majority of these players make
much money doing this. Also, one piece bats are usually tanks and last longer.
(2) some of the players, if they are given bats, maybe arent given the expensive, top bats out there like the high
profile college teams. So they are given the Rev-Ex, one piece 2Legits...yada yada

I don't think there swinging the bats because they are cheaper. It's their profession (for what its worth) so why would they use something cheap or that doesn't perform. These girls are strong and don't need the two or four piece bats. I doubt they care about hand sting or need the flex that slower bat speed kids need. Just my opinion.

This isn't their profession. Most of these people have full time jobs that support them and their families/house/bills. That is their profession. This is
their love. Most aren't gifted to have made a lot of money thru softball.

I have actually had a chance to talk to one of these professional girls about there bats. Those who do have a deal get to pick which bat they want to swing so not all want to swing the newest bat cause they enjoy the older bat. The only true restriction is they can not be caught swinging any bat but the company they are sponsored by.
