Does any one have any experience with the worth Amp slapper fpslp2? I just started playing softball recently and we are converting from slowpitch to some what fast pitch(not an official league just a bunch of people at the park). Myself and all the people I know only have baseball experience and know nothing about softball however other players where able to hit the ball 250+ feet with this bat while I was only able to hit about 175 feet. I ended up switching back to my normal bat which is an old fast pitch bat my dad used in the 80s and was able to hit 250+ feet again. Anyway does anyone have experience with the worth fpslp2? I found no reviews online. based on my performance with it today im not to happy with it but seeing others have great results let me know its probably just me :(

Hi, vtec and welcome. No bat is going to add 75 feet to your swing. But, if the old bat is smashing the ball, why change? Especially, if you are just playing for fun and you don't have any umpires checking the bats.

What are the weights and lengths of the bats? Hopefully, they are 34 inches long and at least 24 ounces.

We can always look at your swing, if you want to post some video.

It's a pretty standard low end aluminum bat. It's selling feature is that it has a longer barrel to handle ratio. If people were hitting out of the ordinary with this particular bat compared to other bats present, it may have been altered (shaved) to increase performance at some point.

The new worth bat is 32 inch and 22 ounces. my old softball bat is 32 inch 32 ounce which is the same weight as the bat I use for baseball. Looking back I think most of my issues at this point are from switching to a bat 10 ounces lighter than I normally use. You mentioned having a bat that is 34 inches, the few times I have swung a bat longer than 32 it felt very awkward to me, but im switching my focus from baseball to fastpitch so im willing to make what ever changes I have to while im getting used to new pitching and everything. I'm going to try and go to the cages this week to get some real practice time with the new bat and hopefully i can get used to it.
