I don’t think our school is even doing tryouts. Lockers were given out Thursday. Practice starts on Monday. Varsity level last year carried 12. We only had 1 player graduate. It will be interesting to see how many JV girls will be brought up this season. Since my dd stopped playing travel, she’ll need to (and should) work twice as hard to keep her Varsity spot.

We had our tryouts last weekend. We had a bunch of girls participate in tryouts this year. Varsity took 13 girls and Junior Varsity took 13 girls. This season should be interesting since we took on 4 new girls on the varsity squad and the JV squad got 6 new girls. But this season, we have 6 seniors on varsity including myself along with playing a really difficult schedule.
