Unless we have played a team previously we always watch the team warm up. Looking for arm strength and accuracy on throws (especially the catcher), footwork, bunt coverage, outfield speed, and in general do they (including the coach conducting the warm up) know what they are doing. Yes teams can have poor warmups and still be good, but more often then not you play as you practice.
