WOW!

Do you have alternate sites to play or do your games become all away.

Tough situation.
Coach is working on a practice field for the girls. We may have to practice later in the day at another HS field. A couple of teams have already offered. It will probably be all away until fence and infield can be repaired. I know fence will be 15K, not sure about infield until water recedes. DD is a senior and since her freshman year they have raised over 75k working their butts off. Our budget is usually around 15K a year for tournaments, hotels, umpires, etc. We’ve put every extra dime into our field and equipment making great improvements over four years. This flood has taken it all.

Straight to the jugular, my kind of guy! My brain is spinning, I’d love to find a way to help!

Lol! You know I am joking! Once we get organized this week, we will have opportunities for donations. Ive already had a couple of companies offer items for donation to auction/raffle for the team. I’ll be plugging them soon!

Have yall had a chance to see it since the water has gone down? Shelby park in Nashville used to have a few fields go underwater from being right next to the Cumberland and flooding. It would happen once every couple of years. It seemed to hold up pretty good, here's hoping that your field won't be as bad as you are thinking.

Best case scenario right now is just replacing 15K fence and 3K tarp. Water is off the infield and coaches were down there today. It will need some TLC. Unfortunately, there is current that ran across infield and top layer is gone. Maybe a good nail drag and a couple tons of sand and packing will be all we need. Shed withheld and will dry, going to have to drain all fluids from Gator and mower, let dry for a couple days and hope neither has to be replaced.
