Sure it is on FloSoftball and I am sure video quality will be often be questionable or totally absent but if you ever want to see what NAIA, JUCO, D3 and D2 softball is all about, there is literally 2,000+ games in their schedule played across the Orlando region with over 380+ teams in attendence. It is ridiculous. Starts today - runs through March 30th.

This is THE pre-season event for every snowed out team east of the Mississippi not in D1. For many teams it is their first outdoor practices are held the day before their first game and you can attend those as well.

There is literally every level and quality level. I have seen teams that would compete in D1 no problem and teams that would finish 4th at local 14U-B USSSA event. You never know what you might see - except LOTS and LOTS of softball.

I go watch games in the Clermont area every March while I'm in Florida. I've never seen any of the practices. Where do they practice?

I'll be there March 9-11 with DD to watch several of her potential college teams play.

DD played there in Clermont last year. They played 10 games in a week. If the weather holds they should get 1 day off during the week.

Oldest DD played there last year, we watched live for the weekend and online during the week, didn't miss a pitch, We will be there for the full week this year 3/2-3/9. Beats being home in New England. The "hotel" the team stays at has a field to practice, the timeshare we stay at also has a field so the younger DD will also get some work in.

So, the only way to see the games is on FloSoftball? My daughter will be down there and we weren't sure if the games would be streamed.

I'll most likely be at Legends Way Sunday or Monday. If you see a 69 year old with a Blue Jays hat on, come and say hello. I usually take out my Pocket Radar a few times. When I see most pitchers warming up at these games, I cringe. I've been teaching IR since the 70s. This hello elbow nonsense was new to me when I first saw it. I couldn't believe people were actually teaching this. I now have a 15 year old male pitcher who throws 69-71mph while his counter-part from a different area can only hit mid 50s. This other guy was taught by his dad who is regarded as a top instructor in our area by a bunch of wannabes. He teaches this push down on the ball mechanics in his drills and wrist snap drills. When I suggest that they have major flaws in what they teach, their response is...That's your opinion. Without asking what it is I see. My point is...poor mechanics are taught everywhere and these coaches don't want to hear anything different.
