If this mom is 45 or 50, it would be perfectly fine for a grown-assed man to charge the stands from the field of a 14-U softball game and try to take her phone.

I think she's one of the player's grandmothers, not mother. In the video it was her adult son interviewed. I assume his daughter plays on the team. So 60 is about right.

If you saw a parent set up a camera to record a game. One of several at just about all games now, your minor dd is going to be on that video because she is playing. Is it ok to attack the other parent?
You are videoing your dd at a specific at bat, can the parent of the catcher and the pitcher attack you because their dds are in the video as well?
How is this different?

If this guy is really a lawyer with Union Pacific, he'll probably find himself out of a job and will probably be disciplined by the bar association. He will almost certainly be sued. The video, which doesn't show us any of the conduct that led to this assault, is pretty damning. I'm curious if anyone has footage of the game which would've picked up any antics prior to this.
What level is a “memorial” softball team? Is that just above “elite” but below “gold”, somewhere around “national”?
