Women reporters fought for years for a right to go in to men's team locker rooms, even while guys were showering. Now they would sue if they were kept from those locker rooms, yet this coah cant use a microwave?

a) The reporters fought that so they would be able to do their jobs properly. Unless this guy's job description entails eating, I doubt
he needs to be in there.
b) The women were obviously uncomfortable about it and since it isn't a necessary part of his job (see a) then once he realized that, a
reasonable person, who was actually doing it for the reason he stated, would stop doing it...

No. This coach CANNOT use the microwave in the women’s locker room. Give me a break.

The microwave seems like a convenient excuse, they should have moved the microwave out of the dressing room if this idiot needed to use it that often...

If you read the article, you'll see that isn't the case, especially in college sports. This guy has a screw loose.

I don't personally know the coach or any of the players. But being from Missouri, I have been watching this. I can truly say that I have know idea what really happened. But I can tell you that there is a truth that isn't necessarily in that article. Being a father of daughters, I would be beyond furious if what is being described happened to my girls and nothing was done. But as a father of a son, I would equally be terrified if my son was accused of something he didn't do, as a form of retaliation. One of those stories is true. I certainly hope the truth comes out without permanently damaging the innocent.

I don't know the details but the head coach should have known this guy doesn't belong around the girls.

We live in a society, now, where men are vilified at every turn. There are 3 sides to every story: he said, she said, and the truth. Personally, all we can do is teach our daughters EVERYTHING. I've never held back with my DD. I've taught her everything a guy will do to get in her pants. (Sorry guys, I told her every trick in the books, especially "If you love me...") Open and honest communication. No holding back. "So and so said this to me in chat." Well honey, let me decipher that for you. Not only that, but she's had a lot of self defense training and practices Brazilian Ju-Jitsu. Point being, prepare your DD's. If something seems wrong then it most likely is. The downside is with all this "I identify as" BS, you never know what to say or think. I don't give a damn. My DD understand the male thinking and intentions. (Regardless of what the male identifies as.) That's all you can really do. Prepare them. In a situation like this, I'm confident that not only would my DD speak up, but give the assh*le a black eye. If all was truly innocent, then I hope she would also recognize a man being honest. Hiding his eyes, voicing his presence, and waiting for the all clear. Don't even get me started on the double standard of women in the men's locker room.

Are we talking about coaches or reporters because there aren't a heck of a lot of women coaches in men's sports. If it is
reporters I don't see male reporters having issues getting or keeping jobs because they don't have access to women's
locker rooms.

The bigger question is why are teams allowed to conduct interviews in locker rooms anyway? My guess is if
male reporter's jobs were in jeopardy because of this, the male dominated domains of Athletic Directors, University presidents
or Team Owners would make sure that the practice ceased for women's sports....

Villains are vilified at every turn. It just so happens that many, if not most, of them are men. And this mostly comes from the fact that men are the ones usually in positions of power and most of these instances are men abusing their power because they can, or at least they believe they can.
