My older DD quit softball after her freshman season and switched to cheer. It was a good fit for her. My girls are very different animals.

Thanks, Darrell. Being able to follow along with BB's journey, as well as a bunch of others, has been a huge help for me in being a guide for Maddie. If people can learn from Maddie's journey, it's just paying it forward. Shared knowledge is the real power of the DFP community.

Ahh. I see what you were getting at now. I only got a partial dose of teenage drama with my older DD. She split time between my house and her mother's. My younger DD is making up for it, though. She's a good kid, but damn, she knows how to push my buttons!

I'm glad to see that things are working out with high school ball. It's a special time and it can be a great experience for the girls. I hope it works out that way for her. Just try to keep her healthy for a change

Thanks for posting, Eric. What a relief to get a coach in time. And hopefully the HS experience will be a great one for Maddie - playing with friends and for the community. I look forward to your posts.

Way to go Maddie! Hard work pays off over and over again. She’ll rock it!
