Watching LSU vs OSU this morning on ESPNU.

Crazy softball dad.... If you're watching, you know what I mean.

Do any of you guys use any online stuff for watching? If so what? I just do over air TV and sling. Don't have ESPN at all. Last year I was able to watch a lot of games on, I think, ESPNW. Some games I had to have the service, but lots I could still watch like Duke. Now I can't seem to find any without paying. If I do have to pay, I might be willing for something inexpensive that had A LOT of games.

I'm not a Sling expert, but I'm guessing you need to upgrade to a sports tier get most of the sports channels that might broadcast softball. That's what I do through Xfinity.

Regarding watching online (not TV), I like to use ROKU for most of the online-only broadcasting when possible. Otherwise, I'll get the online broadcast on my laptop or phone app and cast it to the TV with a Chromecast device.

    * ESPN (and its app) probably shows the most games and most dependable broadcast quality. It's very SEC focused once into the season. I thought ESPN channels came with Sling? You might need to upgrade to a sports tier to ESPNU, ESPN News, etc.

    * Flosoftball has a bunch of pre-season tournaments, but also is now partnering with the Big Ten Network to carry most of their games. If you want to watch Big Ten games, you can go through Flosoftball without the need to pay any extra for the Big Ten Network Plus subscription. Both Flosoftball and the Big Ten Network have nice apps via ROKU, phone app, or online. Broadcast quality is usually decent, but not as good as ESPN.

    * Even though I'm in the Midwest, I love watching PAC12 stuff. Problem is, you definitely need to pay extra via sports tier (Sling?) or the PAC12 app to get it. Unfortunately, the PAC12 network online apps are limited. No ROKU. If the game isn't on the main PAC12 channel (most aren't), I'll get the online broadcast on my laptop or phone and Chromecast it to the TV. If it's not one of the high priority games, you'll probably find very limited cameras and students to the play-by-play (which can actually be fun).

I have no idea how most ACC and Big12 games are broadcast.
