One of our town travel coaches wanted white pants for a young 14U team. One of the moms said absolutely not for the above reason. Older girls know their bodies better and it's fine.

I remember saying those same words when I had my first period when I was 12. I was so mortified and embarrassed. We went straight to Dick's to get me another pair of pants. Coach was none too happy and I had to pitch in like 30 minutes.
For a while I wanted to get a t-shirt printed with the definition of Fielder's Choice on the back, so that way I could explain scoring to the parent while also walking away from them.

I've advised the coaches and parents to leave the Game Changer woman alone. Tough enough job and she does very well.
Even though when my DD and her DD bumped into each other and dropped the fly ball she gave the error to my DD.

Back to the original topic, considering we make my DD responsible for getting her equipment into the car, the words would be:
"Dad I, uh, forgot my glove/cleats/mask at home"
Hasn't happened yet so hopefully I am not putting a jinx on it with this....

Why did my daughter get charged with the loss? She didn’t start the game!
