So the older they get, they dont wear matching uniforms on the field? I’ve never noticed that at tournaments.

Jerseys will match and pants/socks will be the same color, but look closely and you will see on a lot of teams the brand of pants/socks are often different.

DD's current team uses solid black and solid red pants - makes it easy for families to get what their daughters need to play and be comfortable which is a big deal since body shapes and sizes are so varied especially as they get older. Also makes it easy to replace - when you have pants with special panels or designs on it is often difficult to quickly get a new pair if needed.

Means that when kids get older, like Marriard said, bodys change and some things are more comfy than others. Also, when kids get older, many costs
go up in life for things they are doing...cars, activities (they go out and stuff), other sports maybe, looking into college, top line bats are more
expensive...yada yada...so parents (or the kid) spending 200 bucks just so they have the same type pants or same stripe isn't as important as just playing the game.
You still match, but you don't have to match a pair of 40 dollar pants or whatever. If someone wants to spend 150 bucks on some fancy cleat, doesn't mean
someone else has to...they can buy whatever brand. Just like pants, if someone doesn't have the money to buy a pricey pair, they can just go
get a pair for half the price. A lot of kids as they grow up and get part time jobs, are required to help pay for what they want...so some things aren't "needed".

Just thinking about the kids/parents that don't have the means to go full "in" on some massive uni package.

Boombah is good too. Their pants are very durable compared to others. Yeah girls usually wear their own cleats and some orgs will say either black, white, or team colors. They just want somewhat of a uniform look, but aren't going to make them wear one brand or anything like that.

The problem with Boombah is if you add an additional player during the season, there's an additional surcharge of $50 per shirt and pant unless you order 6 or more.

To the OP...our fees include 2 uniform shirts, 2 pants, 2 socks, 1 belt, a monogrammed bat bag (catchers every 2 years) and a batting helmet with team logo sticker and number. As far as everything else goes, they include tournaments, outdoor practice field rentals and indoor practice facilities. Of cours, we're in NE Ohio so....

Our 12U team got 2 tops, one pant with belt, one pair of socks, helmet and bat bag.

You could buy another pant and more socks if you wanted to.

Kids wore their own cleats.

Additional items were offered through the spirit store. We bought 2 hoodies, 2 t shirts, a visor, and a cage jacket.

Boombah is a sign of park and rec. Usually only see the rec allstars or the t shirt start ups rocking the boombah kits.

Gluv seems to be a pretty popular choice. They can be a bit pricey, I prefer the Demarini unis because the pants are half the price of the Gluvs and the socks are a third of the price of the Gluv socks.

A lot of the teams from Texas that I have seen wear those awful sublimated uniforms qith logos on the pants and wild designs on the jerseys. Look like paintball jerseys or some beer league slow pitch over the line squad.
