New girl/jealousy

Best way for a new player to fit in is to kick some rear on the field! Adding a player that does not make a team better rarely ends well on teams playing to win, REC leagues skill level does not matter.

My DD's team did this a year ago. Drove me nuts cuz the girl was a very good player and a great kid. I sat my DD down and went through all the kids on the team. I asked DD to grade all the kids on the 5 tools + mental game. DD gave the ostracized kid the highest grades (not including DD) and then realized how valuable she was to the team.

They aren't BFFs but my DD gained new found respect for the other girl and helped her become more accepted by the other kids.
