I think the Mojo won 12U. That is a terrific organization.
DD's org has 2 very talented 14U teams. One is more of a 13.. We could have combined the teams to make a very good team to go out to PGF. But chose not to. That's what many of these larger orgs do. When teams who don't do that win it makes the win that much sweeter.

I must be the oddball because I was always more disappointed when our coach didn’t pick up anybody. It didn't mean adding a ringer, it was more to add depth if we made a deep run. I’ve been to too many tournaments where girls were carted off the field with heat exhaustion or the pitchers just plain had enough. Adding pick-ups helped prevent that.

No player is being carted off from heat exhaustion at PGF as they play in Irvine about 15 minutes away from the pacific ocean!:)

Seen the picture of the winners with 19 girls and 5 coaches. Tell me this isn’t normal for 12u?!? Maybe I need to get to the west coast but that seems a little over the top. Maybe 12-13 are regulars and the others are pickups to put them in that picture? No idea....no judgement....just wondering if a dugout that full is odd?!?

My DD's TB org (Oklahoma Athletics) seems to carry a smaller roster at PGF Nationals then many other orgs. I was talking to org head the other day and he specifically mentioned this when I asked how they were doing in 14's and 16's...Something like "Not bad considering we didn't bring a MLB sized bullpen with us" Didn't necessarily like that he seem to be using it as an excuse but his complaint probably has some merit to it. Be curious to see if he continues to do it the way he is doing it now...

Sorry, Mojo is not a terrific organization. Cut. Throat. They bring in players from out of state with promises of glory but will cut them after a bad weekend. Seen it first hand. We don't play with them, but against them and they are always trying to poach players too. We prefer stability.

They are what's wrong with TB in my very experienced interactions with them.

Now this is the juicy information we need.
