Of course we are not playing, that would be asking too much. It has been hot out there this year.

Bored quincy story....

We played in tournament last weekend, really hot out of course.

After Friday's game they should have just given us the trophy. We won 5-0. 3rd baseman made 2 diving catches, 1st, P and LF all made some nice plays. P is not walking anyone, we were unbeatable. Where is that trophy?

2nd game Sunday that Team disappeared, semifinals. It is probably not fair to say this but I am pretty sure every player in the field made an error in the 3rd inning. DD is playing LF and she made a nice catch earlier in the inning. After 1/2 an hour another ball is hit to her. Great we are off the field finally, that 3rd out can be tough sometimes. Nope, she dropped it. It contagions sometimes. She did juggle it a little bit, coaches did not seem to be impressed with this though.

It has been hot, I think they all just wanted to go home. They had enough.

Being from the Upper Midwest, I love weather talk. It's the start of almost any conversation in these parts. DD's team played in a Las Vegas tournament last week. It was definitely hot with temps in the 100s. Gotta say though, playing in Peoria a few weeks ago seemed worse with extra steamy temps hovering just under 100. We'll take all these hot days though compared to playing in wintery conditions in April. That was the worst.

DD will pitch in smow, no problem .

That freezing rain early may, she was not impressed with.

It seemed like we went cold to hot, no in between .

It was super hot here in SE PA last weekend and the first half of last week. We had temps almost everyday around 100 w/ high humidity here. I picked up more hours as a lifeguard, thankfully...but had to rescue more kids that weren't strong swimmers unfortunately. After Thursday, the weather became more beautiful. Now it's in the upper 70's, low/mid 80's and I couldn't ask for better weather :).
