The streaming video & broadcasting of games out of SpaceCoast is superb.

USSSA spent a LOT of money on this place. They have been on us to bring events to the place - it is huge and needs usage.

There are still some kinks and other things they are working out - just like Disney I expect they will get over the 'no cooler' rule eventually and some other things. But it is a GREAT venue they have created out of the old MLB pre-season site.

I'm loving the streaming! We're watching some of our local teams play in the 11U USAES WS that's going on there now. I noticed 10U has professional looking filming and announcers! 12U doesn't have any of that, more like a GoPro set up in the stands. But hey, it's a lot better than nothing. It's been fun to get to watch so many girls we know play.

Update on Space Coast Complex

No coolers being enforced today. Guess it’s all subject to what they decide that day.

Where is the streaming? Are they streaming online to anyone? Or streaming to TV's setup around the stadium?

DD’s team is there now for the 13u Elite Select Futures tournament.

We’ll be down there next week for the 14u World Series. If you could, can you find out if they’ll allow one of those bucket top misters? I can’t even imagine what the dugouts feel like, but with so many restrictions I don’t want to go out and buy one. Thank you and good luck!

Hi,
How do the daily passes work? My daughter has games in the mornings and nothing until later in the day. Other kids want to go to the beach in between games. Do they have hand stamps or wrist bands they will have to not wash off/keep track of all day so we can be re-admitted into the complex later in the day, or are there tickets I can stick in my purse?

Thanks!

When I find out I'll try to remember to come back and post. DH has the coach's meeting this morning and should have more info. We head over this afternoon for opening ceremonies. I bought the week passes for myself and my other daughter. If you buy online in advance it's cheaper.

Definitely buy online. You pick up paper tickets at will call window. We came and went as needed. Just keep your tickets with you.

Weather delays were daily last week when we were there. Good Luck!

Update for y'all. They are not checking bags or wagons and don't seem to care that people are bringing in stuff. I have not seen anyone with actual coolers but we've brought in water and snacks without issue.

It's a good thing because yesterday they were out of water at 2 pm at the concession stand. There is only one line and it's usually 20 people deep. And they're slow.

They did become strict on the no coolers but chairs, wagons, and tents were not a problem.

They really should sell water at
Stations not just the concessions stands to help cut down on the lines.

Good luck

I feel that if you're going to put in a tournament and not allow outside food or drinks, you better have an efficient and well stocked concession stand. Theirs are neither efficient nor well stocked. But at least they're not being strict about the outside stuff. They aren't even really checking. DH had one large and one XL water cooler in the wagon today and they just scanned his pass and didn't even look in the wagon. If we weren't already sneaky types it would be pretty bad though.
