From a development standpoint she’s probably better off with her normal instruction.
Reasons I’d lean more towards the camp might be:
-To see if your DD might be interested in attending there.
-To measure herself against other kids looking to play at that level.
-To experience different coaching techniques.
We only do "exposure camps", like prospect camps and invitational camps.
I doubt any of these coaches actually saw her play, but they probably noted her GPA and said "let's take a look".
13 y/o DD is getting separate lessons with a catching coach and a batting coach each week this summer. I had assumed this was better than a four day softball camp at a local college. Is there any reason I should reconsider?
