My husband sent me this the other day. I was ok til it showed the girl at the end still in her helmet trying to stop them then starting to cry. At that point it really sunk in how very un-funny it was. I can't even imagine how my kids would feel seeing their parents or coaches act like this :(

The girl crying who tried to stop what I assume was her dad broke my heart. What a bunch of idiots

As a HS baseball player around 30 years ago, I assume a parent walked through the gate with the coach squatting down catcher style with his head against a fence pole and nailed him. The coach was knocked out and no words at all. He never saw him. The parent walked back out the gate. They woke the coach up and stopped the bleeding. Shaking hands afterwards he said I don't know what the hell that was about to our coach. I was on first base and saw the entire deal. Nothing ever said.

Played some really good 8u allstars this weekend. Their parents had no class at all, heckling an 8 year old pitcher with cheers like “everyone hits!” And screaming “Ball” as the pitcher pitched, yelling “Drop it!” When throws were being made. I was disgusted and it took all the self control I had not to be one of those parents. The best was when there pitcher through a fit and started crying when the umpire wouldn’t give her a strike on a horrible change up. Literally threw the ball at our dug out and the coach just went and gave her a hug. Still can’t beli the ump didn’t toss her! Oh well, I hated losing to them but we were the bigger parents

We played a high level team from a very well known organization in first year 10U (2 years ago). Parents would yell "I've got it!" when their players would hit pop flies, things like that. Another team from the same org had previously made a very bad impression on me for similar reasons. We experienced similar things in 2nd year 10U from one of those teams that thinks they're high level because they win all the time at the lowest possibly level they can play (the 1B coach would yell "BOO!" at our 1B when she was making a play, I'm not even kidding). I sort of expect it from some of those teams, but not from the best of the best type orgs. It surprises me they don't have higher standards. We haven't played any team from that org since first year 10U though so it is possible they've addressed it since.

Watching Fox News Rising this morning, they showed this clip twice and clearly pointed out it was a NC team’s parents, makes me proud . Anchorman nailed it with “what a bunch of idiots!”.

Pardon me... but why in the hell does this article seem to point the finger at the umpire over what happened?!

Was it changed, I don't see anything in either links that blames the ump. The only mention was that the fans began responding to the Umps calls in favor of one team, but that is a reflection on the person saying something, not the ump.
