well that was wrong right out the box
Do the losers of Games 5 & 6 really swap which side of the bracket they're on? That doesn't seem to align what I'm seeing here...https://www.ncaa.com/interactive-bracket/softball/d1/2018/cws
I think they changed the format when they switched from a straight 8 double elimination to a double elimination on each side of the bracket followed by a best 2 of 3 championship.
But I could be wrong, it's been known to happen.

The cross over happens after today's winners brackets games - the losers move over to the other side of the draw and will enter the losers bracket over on there.
Example - the loser of Oregon-Washington will play the winner of Georgia-FSU and will will remain on that side of the bracket.
