Our team played in it's first PGF event this past weekend, most of our team had not played in one before. It was awesome. We have played USA Select Elite and similar but I really loved this event. I am an AC and got to spend quite a bit of time talking with umpires who seemed to all be veteran college umpires, and as a group they were the best I have ever seen. Very professional and didin't once hear any coaches arguing with umps, some discussions but no yelling and arguing like normal. We got jobbed big time by an ump when we played the host team's premier team but I was told to expect that and they would have beat us anyway. We were an 11u playing 12u and made a good showing and am glad we will be playing many more PGF events in the future.
