You can have the best food at a restaurant but if your service sucks, people will go elsewhere for their food.

The Ghost bat has put them in the limelight again, created buzz in the game and been a windfall in profits.

The do not realize or care however about the cascading effects of poor, non existent customer service.

Emails go answered, call loops for more than an hour before auto hang ups. Just check their Facebook page with the experience of people ordering the USSSA Ghost or their return process.

I guess as long as kids are hitting dingers, we are willing to put up with bad service and high prices.

Customer service or not I wouldn't waste my money on a Ghost. I saw too many girls love them in the spring and by the fall they were back to Demarinis and Xenos because their Ghosts were dying.

Believe me I was close to pulling the trigger last summer. By the fall I was glad I didn't. I know one particular 14U team that had 8 or 9 girls swinging them and crushing the ball. By the T-Bolts showcase in November they were all back to their old bats because the Ghosts lost their pop. Had a girl on our varsity team that bought hers last June and then took the fall off. The first half of the season she was squaring up everything but it just didn't seem to have any pop and sounded dead. Said something to her dad and she used my DD's bat the next time up. Same swing and she had her second career HR. The next day he bought her a Demarini and she has stroked the ball all season.

I purchased an ASA Ghost that my HS daughter has used since July of last year in travel and HS. She leads the team I. Batting average. We have had no issues. The HS team has 4 team bats (ghosts) no issues with those so far - bought at start of this HS season.

My 12u daughter cracked her CF9 - after 6 months. Their customer service was outstanding.

The Ghost is a great product in my opinion, just the company is not also in my opinion.

A good friend of mine got a warranty replacement for his DD's Ghost in a few days. He was very pleased with Easton's customer service.

Finding out status of new order is the issue not a replacement issue. Maybe they could hire a few more folks to answer the phones or respond to emails.

I am glad people have had success I. Warranty issues.

Never order thru a manufacturer site. Stick to the retailers. Most of the time, all they do is place the order thru the closest dealer...and what im guessing is
that everybody they are trying is sold out.

I kinda thought this may be the problem when this thread appeared. I had someone tell me a yesterday the site showed in stock, and I knew that almost all
stores sold their allocation.

I guess this wasnt the bashing of Easton some were hoping for :)
