Wouldn't believe it, if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes

I'm glad you're amused! Just be re-assured that I've personally see one member's DD hit it over the same fence 3 times although he doesn't post on here often. Meanwhile, his DD is playing Major D1. Last year, a TB player hit it over twice although I didn't see those but heard about them. BTW, urban legend has it that many people have seen Crystal Bustos hit it over a 395' baseball fence. Are you going to disparage her also or are you going to give her the credit due to her based on the reputation she's built and seeing her hit those bombs even though you haven't? IDK if it's true or not but I would definitely give her the benefit of the doubt on this one.

Again, Just because you haven't seen someone hit a 12" softball that far or someone we happen to be talking about hasn't built up the reputation Crystal Bustos has due to lack of news articles and video to confirm it so "you can see it with your own eyes," doesn't mean it hasn't happened in the past nor that it won't happen in the immediate future.

So my question to you is, how much do you believe a 10U pitcher is throwing 60MPH+? A few have seen it happen on here. A few have posted about it on here saying they personally know the family and others have expressed incredulity at it. Yet, why do you believe it if it happened? Because someone else has seen it?
Wait a second, so do you not believe me?

One of my favorite pieces of advice seems relevant here...when you find yourself in a hole, stop digging.

Are you saying that she hit it over a 330 ft fence on 3 seperate occasions? Not soft toss (where you can load up and swing from your rear), but in an actual fastpitch game?

I don't have a dog in this fight and like you have a DD that's a 2021. She is 5'3" 120lbs on a good day and didn't hit her first HR until playing in the Bolts 5 Star last November. That one carried between 220' and 230'. Her third HR of her freshman HS season came last week and it went about 220'. That's not my guess but rather the dad from the opposing team that was on the back in LF and got the ball when it landed and threw it back in.

I say this because if my DD's scrawny butt can hit balls 220-230 I have zero doubts girls that are 4 or 5 years older and have plenty of size on her can go 330'. I have watched an 18U kid hit a 300' men's fence on the fly. The girls dad may have told everyone it was a 330' fence. I watched an opposing player last HS season put one about 30 feet out onto our soccer practice field that is at least 80 feet behind our softball field and even though this was easily over 300' her dad may have thought it was 360'.

I'm never going to get on here and say my DD did something she didn't do but I am also not going to bash anyone who is proud of their DD's efforts.

This wasn't her DD he was talking about. It was another girl in the league. And 300 ft home runs do not come easily. I looked all over the internet and could not find much. Please see Youtube below. In the 26 year history of this team, it was the first women to hit it over the 290 ft fence.

How about this?...
Post videos this summer of our DDs hitting on 275' fence fields.
Use newer consistantly hard balls, that are of good quality.
And slow toss to them from 18-20' (or set up a pitching machine with a consistent speed.)

Just an idea.

But 275' wasn't the claim. 275' is a huge shot, but it's not in the realm of 325'.

Use the 275' fence as a gauge.
We set up cones at 220' and 250'.
If you want, then set some cones up at 300' and 325'.
The thing is the ball will be hit considerably farther the faster the ball is pitched.
So using a pitching machine really helps with that. Set the speed with a radar gun, for a known consistent speed.
Slow tossing balls (18-25 mph) at 18-20', it's pretty hard to get it out on a 275' field.
If you use all brand new balls, your grouping in distance will be much more consistent, versus using a bucket of mis-matched balls , some newer, some frayed at the edges and as soft as a marshmallow.

So if you're looking for a 325' shot, set up a pitching machine at 65 mph or so and give it a try.
The nice thing about having a pitching machine, is you can obviously groove meat balls in the perfect spot for the batter nearly every time.

Did you notice she hit that to the opposite field? A little effort and you can find a woman smoking 325' fences in slow pitch. Just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean it can't happen. Dang sure doesn't mean you need to act like a troll and bash others for what they have had the chance to see.
