DD did the lizard skin over her old grip tape on her old bat..she loves the thickness. would there be any issues with it being doubled up?

Just that the grip tape wont last as long. The adhesive works better on the bare handle than on the old grip material especially if you put the new grip tape on because the old grip was wearing.

Can't give a performance recommendation yet, but we just installed a 1.1 Lizard Grip on DD's Ghost last night.
Tried to install it over the original grip, but DD said she didn't like it. Ended up removing the old grip and installing directly to the bat handle.
So far I can say the Lizard Grip was about 1 inch short compared to the original grip length. We used an overlap that made the Lizard Grip the same thickness as her Xeno and LXTs.

She will use it for the first time in 3 games today at a HS tournament. I'll update the post. 7 games over the next three days should give her a good feel for the grip.

She is a little hesitant to use this bat. She has been on fire with an old LXT the last few weeks. I hope she doesn't let the new bat or grip get in her head.

Replaced ours a few days after getting it. DD strangely enough liked the stock one also, but once two other girls picked up a ghost we had to switch to our own custom color. Went with a good Ol Lizard Skin thickness of 1.1

Howd things go? DD has played 3 HS games since Saturday and has yet to be retired. Two doubles, one triple, two singles, four by reaching on errors! Bat has the defenses trembling.

Rain has been giving us fits here in SE Texas. So far, DD doesn't like the bat. She says it vibrates and shocks here left hand (she's a lefty slapper)?
Not sure if it's a bat or grip problem.
Will update more later. She will try to phase it back in during unimportant games.
