    Default Aaaarrrrggghh!

Second year in a row we’ve had this kind of flooding! Tomorrow is first official day of practice. Forecast is more rain for the next 6 of 8 days! DD is not happy! Softball field in foreground and baseball to the right.

Sounds like an understatement. I could imagine any player feeling a bit more intense about it.

Good luck. Any good prayers for sun.

No sympathy here. We just finished up with over 12" of snow. Getting ready to go out and clear out the front of the driveway where the plows left me a 3+ foot compacted drift.

    Arggggg...

I get it. I’ll take rain over snow any day. November is a loong time to not be on the dirt with your teammates, though. Hope you get some temps to melt that mess!

On a positive note, the water hasn't made it up to the tarp yet

Today I shoveled my car out of my parking space, cleaned off my car, and I didn't even go anywhere. It took about 45 minutes.

Tryouts are in two weeks. Looks like I'll be planning all indoor tryouts again this year.

First game is scheduled for four weeks from tomorrow. I can't even imagine the field being playable by then.
