I know good equipment can make a difference, but $350 for a softball bat is ridiculous. That much for one that isn't approved across all the larger FP associations is insane. As is often the case, I learned something with this thread; be on the lookout for this bat during USSSA tournaments.

I told the instructor I played baseball for almost 20 years and I probably had no more than 5-7 bats in that whole time (not counting the wood bats I used in college summer ball). I used to be the same way. Then, one day I realized how miserable I was constantly being upset about something that had to do with 12u softball. So I stopped being mad. Stopped caring about the petty crap and just focused on loving my kid and cherishing every second I get to watch her play. And man...has that made a world of difference on so many levels.

It’s girls softball. It’s an incredible game, that will give you and your daughter incredible memories. Don’t let those memories be clouded by crap that doesn’t mean a damn thing. Trust me, once you let go, it’s pretty awesome to just enjoy the game and watch your kid play it.
