Think TB tournament for HS ball. We have several tournaments held in Ohio that are for HS teams only. One was actually quite large at one time. Last time DD's HS team played in it 4 years ago, they had something like 76 HS teams from Ohio and surrounding states. I don't know if it's still going on. The team also traveled to SC and Fla during the spring to play in one of their HS tourneys.
We play our first game on Feb 19th and will play the maximum allowed regular season games which is 18 plus 7 tournaments. We ended up playing around 50 games last year and will probably get more this year just from being better and advancing further in the tourneys. We start our playoffs April 27th beginning with area tournaments and the state finals wrap up May 19th.
We have some really good ones in Alabama. The top tourneys draw really good teams including some from out of state so you get to play good competition. Some will have 50 plus teams.
Gulf Shores spring break tourney is great! We play week one this year I believe.
TN team here. We played 46 games last year including 4 tourneys. We finished runner up at state tournament. 50 is about the max you can play in TN.
We will be heading down there this year as well. I am kinda dreading it. With the cost of going down there while putting back money for Colorado and PGF this year it will be tight. That's on top of Orlando for HS volleyball back on Labor Day and another trip down for the D9 in October.
