As some others have mentioned, it appears that the nasty ads that take over your browser are powered by malware from some other source. From my limited tech background, I'd guess that there is some weakness in the vBulletin software that is being exploited. That's why you often get re-directed when you see a DFP link in a Google search result, or why a smart browser like Chrome or Firefox will sometimes spring a warning when you load DFP.
The shame of it is, the owner of the site isn't getting any revenue from this nonsense. Coach Marc set this site up to help promote his training program, and it's taken on a life of its own and become an incredibly valuable resource. It's popularity is what attracts darkweb types who can spray bad code around. If he were so inclined, Marc could probably hire a security firm to tighten the forum up, but that would take his expenses of running this site to a whole other level. In the meantime, install popup blockers. And click the legit ads once in a while, I'm sure we'd all be terribly upset if this site went away.
