I'm usually hollering, pushing the girls down and getting them out of MY teams way, after all, my team is more important to me. My team shouldn't have to hear why you just lost, I don't need them to hear excuses in losing. Get your bottles of tears , in the trash, and scram. J/k But I do like dugouts with 2 entrances for this reason, you can wait at one end, while the other team, scampers out. It does leave a bad taste, when the umpires are calling for teams, and you haven't made it into the dugout yet. Teams shouldn't feel a need to be rushed, but it happens.

The fact is that most teams do a pretty good job getting out of the dugouts and others wait. I know we often point out the bad situations, but at least where we play there are generally a bunch of great kids, parents and coaches.

One of my biggest per peeves. Your team is changing fields after a game that has run long and the umpires can clearly see you'r trying to get in the dugout and situated while they're at HP calling for the coaches. Most are pretty good about if you yell out them you'll be there in a second as soon as you're done getting into the dugout. It's a very select few who get belligerent about it.

Dd is always the last one out of the dugout. She's either taking catchers gear off or trying to find all of her stuff to put away. This has led to her gear getting put in other bags or even totally lost (leg protector last weekend ).

It's like trying to get your receipt/credit card/change put back in your wallet at the grocery store while the cashier is already ringing the next customer up.

I've run into a few that just want to get that clock started as soon as possible.
