Is there a difference in "cut" b/w "youth" baseball pants and female-specific softball pants?
My daughter was complaining about the amount of material in the inseam, (or I guess another way to put it is the amount of space b/w the inseam and her!), but these same pants also didn't help "hide the crack" when she was catching this summer.
Saw softball pants on baseballsavings.com website, but just from the picture, it looked like they were cut much lower - line they would ride lower on the hips. I get the fashion thing, but I would think for athletic wear, they'd put more emphasis on the functionality aspect? Am I just being "ignorant dad", or would the lower riding pants just make it even worse for ANY girl who was catching?
I was hoping to do a bulk order of the regular baseball pants for my rec team, but if the fit is going to be that different, maybe it's just a matter of pick-your-poison?
