I'll leave the pros and cons to someone more knowledgeable, but it seems pretty expensive compared to the "Chuckit! Classic Launcher" which I've seen some hitting instructors suggest using...
We (myself and DD) have used the line drive pro. Not impressed. Does not promote what many would call a high level swing. Buy a tanner tee and a Bownet.
I use the chuckit for my dog all the time, i keep meaning to try it like a bat- so i cant comment on whether thats worth doing or not. Mike Candrea used to have his players do one-handed (bottom hand) drills using a small chuckit.
This line drive thing has the advantage of being able to use it while swinging a real bat.
