Help this softball stuff is hard

Neither my DD has offered to catch for every pitcher on the team including the other catcher who also pitches

Did I read that right? She played all but 5 innings in 24 games? I seriously don't think you will find a better situation than that (for playing time I mean). Just as long as the coaching is decent and the girls get along. As you know, we just left a team. My daughter is also a catcher. We would have stayed if she was getting time at other positions, but she wasn't. We found a new team where she is getting to play catcher, first and third. She's thriving. She's happy. She sits sometimes, but no where near as much as she was. They seem to value her more on this team. This team is the same level as the one we left. But like I said, the last tournament we were at with the old team she only played 3 innings defensively the whole tournament. That was unacceptable. Your daughter at least seems to be playing? A lot?
