i drew that line a few times in my day. Playing college baseball out in Cali. Cali umps had real low and wide zones. I drew a line, ump didnt say much. Next pitch was farther outside, strike 3. I pointed my bat at the spot, took a back handed frustration swing and accidentally caught dirt. Ump really didnt like the line, point to spot, swing and especially not the flying dirt all over. ya, I got booted. Probably deserved it too.
I switched to "Is that the end of the corner/top or bottom of zone?" on those calls. Umps didnt seem to mind that comment
