I bought my daughter some black pants and I want to get some yellow piping or braiding down the sides of the legs, are there places locally that do that? wouldn't even know where to go for that. I would guess a seamstress or tailor? but where do I get the piping? any help? thanks in advance

Whos the manufacture. Also if she has worn the pants it may be a bit of a challenge to get it done. I would suggest going the the dry cleaners and see if they do tailoring there. Only issue of that is not many know the sizing of the pipe to put on. Your better off buying another pair of pants that already has it on there.

I think you're better off getting a new pair of pants. Adding a braid would add extra stitches to the inside of the pants that might be itchy, depending on the thread used. Adding piping would mean tearing out the outside seam of the pants. Also, you'd have to make sure to match the color and size of the piping or braid on teammate's pants.

You can make it work but you're probably better off (in terms of time, money, and effort) just buying pants that already have the trim you want.
