Lol. We have played teams that would still be hitting year latter but hit the breaks. I do not know what you do when you are scoring 36 runs though.

I would probably go to car an take a nap.

Here is a stat line from a recent game we played. This is one inning. K-E4-E6-K-BB-E4-E8-E5-1B-E4-K. 7 runs scored on 6 errors. As the dad of the pitcher, I can vouch for how painful high school softball is under these conditions. Through 3 games our team is already over 30 errors.

DD gets the worse defense possible, she is usally best pitcher so it makes sense to me and more importantly to her. She has a great additute.

You will hear an earful from her if you dare say anything about her defense.

Your DD and my DD would get along well. She is stone faced in the circle when this is happening, and nothing but supportive to her teammates. But in private she can vent with the best of them :)

So Cal
46-36 in a regulation 7 inning High School game!!?? Just...wow.

Score 36 runs...and lose...by a lot. That's a rough day.

Ouch. I hope things turn around for your DD and her team.

Thanks Eric. To be honest, she plays high school to be with her school friends and hopefully help them however she can. We are both looking forward to travel ball. FWIW, the high school team is filled with great kids and great attitudes, but very little experience. We have two girls with serious travel ball experience (including DD) and played a team yesterday that has 14 travel ball players on their roster. There's only so much you can do.
