It seems to me that if they are not being called during the regular season then they shouldn't start calling it in conference tournaments and the WCWS. You have to stop it before it starts. Women who have been allowed to do that all season can't suddenly be told to change in the tournaments. Thats not fair to them

Almost a viscous circle. Umps at some University's that call this on the home team, do not get any further assignments. So they don't call it.

You then go to a neutral field where umps can call the game straight up and people think it's unfair because it hasn't been called all year.

Sorry Ladies and Gentleman I just aint buying it. If the home team had enough pull to get umpires to look the other way they would also have enough pull to get the calls when these teams traveled ( Kentucky's umpires ).. It goes much higher than the umpires. Also why isnt these broadcasters commenting? I read somewhere and it may have been on this sight that if you cant see daylight under a kids foot then they are not going to call it.

Actually, the ADs may have that pull. Enough get ticked off (and the coach will let them know), the contracted assoc./assignor may not get a renewal. The umpires who work these games are not NCAA umpires, but umpires who officiate NCAA games.
