I really don't need any help.

We play tonight. It will be interesting to see what else people think that I need help with. Last game, I was getting ready to hit ground balls to the girls and the dad that was helping walked up and took the bat out of my hands. He said that he could do this.
I know we were short handed and he was just trying to help, but he should have asked, if I wanted him to do it.
I think I will get a t-shirt that says "I am 63 and I am not dead, yet."

Oh, we were fine. But, a player who is "least likely to hit the ball" nailed the opposing pitcher in the ankle. It was broken. The poor young lady howled and screamed. It was awful. Their coach insisted on playing on. We loaned him an outfielder.
Their injured player screamed for 12 minutes. An ambulance had been called, so we knew how long it was.
The fireman arrived first and then, the ambulance. It took a bit of doing to get a backboard into the dugout, and then, get her on the stretcher. And all this time, we were playing ball.
I told the parents around me "Do not expect me to continue a game, when an ambulance has been called, for an injury."
The first game we won, after the opposing coach attempted to intentionally walk our batter. His pitcher threw the ball over the catcher and our runner on 3rd scored.8-7
Their pitcher got injured in the 3rd inning of the 2nd game, We won 19-7.
