It is not unusual for an umpire to have a god awful zone or for a pitcher to occasionally leap without any conscious attempt to gain a competitive advantage. But it is a totally different for an umpire to call a zone unequally or make calls based on their personal bias. Or for a player to know full well they are competing illegally, realize a competitive advantage by doing so and continue because they can get away with it. The former examples have some performance issues and it is not a reflection on their character. However, if true most would consider the latter examples cheats, with serious character flaws. I may not have this right but I think that based on the season so far, and especially the games last week many observers are beginning to conclude that there might be some serious issues of character regarding the Gator softball program.

Im not too familiar with the Gator program. Which D1 program wouldn't want Barnhill and her competitive character in the stable?

I saw that. What was THAT about?

Looked like Walton tried to High 5 her in the line but her hand wasn't up and he hit her in the neck. To me it looked like neither of them were paying attention and he hit her by accident. She over-reacted and pushed him in the back and her teammate pulled her away.

The ball was bouncing around in the glove! 3rd base blue had a good angle lol.

If you are going to call that bouncing around in the glove and overturn the call from @ 70' away, umpires will have to question every catch made...

That's what I was thinking, but I was just wondering if there was some sort of history between the two. It didn't seem like either one was very nice after the missed high five.

He kicked her two sisters off of Florida's team a few years ago. A lot of bad blood. IMO He just pushed a girl.....

She made the catch since the ball never hit the ground. Differnt story on a catch and tag. Kind of looked like the ball was bouncing around in the glove after she made the tag, if the ball was juggled after the tag she should be safe. If the ball was secure in the glove she should be out. Those are the rules and we have to follow the rules.
