I have a new iPhone 7+. I would like to put some softball apps on it but do not know of any. This is my first smart phone. I am a newbie. So I do not have a clue what is good or bad. Any advice on free apps or ones you need to buy. If you do use them could you give me the positive or negative of them.

I follow a lot of high school teams in the area on MAX PREPS and COACH T apps. Both are free. You just add the teams to the apps that you want to follow. Most of the teams in my area use one of these to load scores and stats. There may be something similar that teams in your state uses of they don't use one of these.

Technique (formerly ubersense) and coaches eye are good for analyzing video of swings, pitches, etc. I prefer Technique probably because I used it first.

I have the asa rules on phone.:) Think is costs $30.

It always amazes me that sanctions require you to buy their rules. #racket Perhaps if the rules were more widely agreeable, "expert-grandpa/dad/mom" wouldn't argue so many calls....scratch that...the probably still would.

+1 for Technique. Love the slider function for reviewing videos manually, plus it gives you multiple playback speeds.

Have not used coaches eye, so can't do a head2head comparison.
