Right Here For Now
I just googled ODM average and a new page came up with a limited amount of stats...
DD1 40 yard times compare very well to those posted on ODM. But she's getting her butt kicked in the 20 yard with a 3.0.
So now I know the focus truly is on the 0-10 yard times.

Thanks to Mr T, for the ODM thread!

If you want your kid faster out of the gate, talk to your local college track coach and get her running lessons...especially out of the Sprinters start. All of the top Sprinters are pigeon toed and thus, push off of their start blocks with their toes......not the balls of their feet. We called my DD "Semi" because she was slow to start, but once she got going, don't get in her way because she wasn't able to stop. She started off "duck footed" and pushed off the inside ball of her foot. Once she had lessons, she increased her speed by almost 4 tenths of a second. Between that and her arms crossing her body while pumping, it made a huge difference.

ETA: ANY college coach I've ever talked to during DD's recruiting process, and I've talked to many as well as many more afterwards trying to get my other players recruited then and now, they all have said the same thing... "If they can hit, I'll find a place for them on the field."
